AHEAD announced today that it is participating in the launch of Professional Services in AWS Marketplace. Amazon Web Services (AWS) customers can now purchase professional services from AHEAD in AWS Marketplace, a curated digital catalog of software, data and services that makes it easy to find, test, buy and deploy software and data products that run on AWS. As a participant in the launch, AHEAD is one of the first AWS Consulting Partners to quote and contract services in AWS Marketplace to help customers implement, support and manage their software on AWS.
As organizations migrate to the cloud, they want to use their preferred software solutions on AWS. Through the Marketplace, AHEAD will provide packaged offerings that combine cross-practice services in the areas of App Modernization, DevOps, Managed Services, Infrastructure, Security, Monitoring, IT Service Management and Advisory Services.
Currently available through the Marketplace is AHEAD’s Cloud Readiness Assessment Service, which assists clients at the start of their migration journey to assess their organization’s current readiness for operating in the cloud. A HashiCorp Vault Implementation Service, which assists clients at the beginning of their Secrets Management journey to get started with HashiCorp Vault on AWS will be available soon. Further offerings will follow in the near future.
“AHEAD specializes in integrating AWS with third-party platforms to deliver operationally ready solutions that align with our enterprise client’s IT standards and governance controls,” said AHEAD cloud solutions principal Dan Ryerson. “Through AWS Marketplace, we can build upon our history of working closely with IT and procurement teams to identify the right mix of solutions to deliver maximized budgets through optimized license spend, AWS discounts and contract/payment term specifications.”
Until now, AWS customers had to find professional services outside of AWS Marketplace and could not identify software and associated services in a single procurement experience. With professional services from AHEAD available in AWS Marketplace, customers have a simplified way to purchase and be billed for both software and services in a centralized place. Customers can further streamline their purchase of professional services and software with standard contract terms to simplify and accelerate procurement cycles. Additionally, customers purchasing products and services within the Marketplace earn a 50% credit towards EDP commitment, which also contributes to AWS volume discount considerations.
