AHEAD ACQUIRES PLATFORM CONSULTING GROUP, BOLSTERING ITS CAPABILITIES IN THE DELIVERY OF CLOUD NATIVE APPLICATIONS
Digital business infrastructure leader kicks off another record-setting year of growth and innovation with new acquisition
CHICAGO – January 7, 2020 – AHEAD, a leading provider of enterprise cloud solutions, today announced that it has acquired Platform Consulting Group. The acquisition brings cloud native application development expertise to AHEAD’s professional services organization.

Headquartered in Denver, Colo., Platform Consulting provides services to enterprise clients focused on cloud native applications and modern development frameworks. Founder and president of Platform Consulting, Chris Birtwhistle, has an extensive background running world class professional services teams at VMware, Pivotal Software and EMC. As part of the acquisition, he will lead AHEAD’s Cloud Applications and Platforms practice.
