AHEAD, a leading provider of IT consulting and enterprise cloud solutions, today announced it has received two Puppet Channel Partner of the Year Awards for 2017. AHEAD was honored with the “Partner MVP, Americas,” and its senior technical architect, Dan Wittenberg, received the “Engineer of the Year, Americas” award. With these two awards, AHEAD was recognized by Puppet global senior leadership for contributions made to driving customer success with Puppet technology.

“We are extremely proud of the success we’ve had using Puppet to improve software delivery for our clients,” said Eric Kaplan, chief technology officer at AHEAD. “We’re pleased to be recognized by Puppet as a trusted partner and advocate, both company-wide and at an individual level. Dan’s commitment, collaborative nature and desire to become a Puppet master is inspiring. He is truly deserving of this award.”

Since 2013, AHEAD has been both a channel partner and service delivery partner of Puppet, helping customers speed the delivery of new software capabilities to their businesses. AHEAD leverages Puppet as part of several solutions to deliver clients an environment for configuration management and a sustainable strategy for automating the deployment of applications and infrastructure in the cloud. Additionally, AHEAD works closely with Puppet developers to test new solutions and advise on product direction and development.

“Puppet’s community of customer-centric channel partners play an important role in evangelizing the benefits of automation with Puppet,” said John Schwan, vice president of global partner sales, Puppet. “We congratulate AHEAD on its Puppet Channel Partner of the Year Award and applaud its ongoing commitment to driving customer success.”

The Puppet Channel Partner of the Year awards is an annual award that honors Puppet’s channel ecosystem for the contributions they’ve made in helping customers accelerate their journey to pervasive automation. This year’s award winners also demonstrated exemplary performance in innovation and implementation of Puppet technology. The inaugural program recognized nine partners globally in six categories.
